NASA Ready to Send Humanoid Robot to Space
 

In one giant leap for robotkind, NASA’s humanoid Robonaut will launch on a space shuttle mission later this year to become a permanent resident of the International Space Station. IEEE Spectrum talked with Nic Radford, the Robonaut deputy project manager, to learn how the dexterous robot works and how it will assist its human colleagues aboard ISS.
